Mobile Medical Units (MMU) are a key component in facilitating healthcare delivery in remote and under-served areas. Through MMUs, we provide services such as – early identification of diseases, screening, referrals, follow-ups and free medicines.

Staffed with qualified medical personnel, the MMU supports Mobile Health Services (MHS) – a flexible platform to deliver and track multiple services and customize them to suit local needs.

Each MMU offers a wide range of medical interventions- treating hypertension and diabetes, addressing non-communicable diseases (NCDs), cancer screening and comprehensive RMNCH+A services. High-risk cases are referred to the nearest public health facility for further care.

Our MMUs operate through two strategic models: Public Private Partnership and Corporate Social Responsibility. Each plays a vital role in enhancing healthcare accessibility for underserved populations.

Under our PPP model, Sanjeevani is a Government of Assam program, supervised by the National Health Mission and operated by us. It is a once-a-month, technology-enabled, Community Outreach Program to converge health services in villages. Under it, we have 80 Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) functioning in all 30 districts of Assam.

Under CSR, we operate MMUs in 14 states across India – Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, West Bengal.

This intervention brings healthcare directly to the doorstep thereby making it accessible, affordable, and available.
