Health Online Parameter Evaluation (HOPE)

HOPE (Health Online Parameter Evaluation) is a centralized Command and Control Center, established for Data-driven Governance and 24×7 monitoring of Government hospitals, falling under the purview of the Directorate of Medical and Health Services (DGMH) in Uttar Pradesh. 

It has been pivotal in strengthening governance, fostering data democracy and driving efficiency in quality health service delivery. 

Components:

  • Data-Driven Governance: Data Analysis is conducted using data from various portals of government of India and government of Uttar Pradesh. After data analysis, key service-related gaps are identified and shared with Govt officials with meaningful insights.  
  • CCTV Monitoring: 107 District Hospitals (DHs) and 172 Special Hospitals (SHs) of Uttar Pradesh are monitored round-the-clock (24×7.). Non-compliance issues, with respect to standard operating procedures, are tracked and tickets are raised for identified service gaps.
  • State Health Helpline: Supporting the government of Uttar Pradesh in providing last-mile health services through the State Health Helpline, accessible via 1800-180-5145 and 1800-180-5146. A trained team of 27 call center executives (CCEs), responding to the queries of citizens, facilitate conference calls for tele-consultations with senior medical doctors and handle outbound calls from the Directorate of Medical and Health Services (DGMH) to districts and divisions.
