On 12th September 2025, at the CSR’25 Summit in New Delhi, UNMUKT – our Mobile Medical Unit-based screening and counselling program for Sickle Cell Anaemia – was recognized as a Winner in the Aarogya Shakti category.

Over three years, UNMUKT deployed two mobile medical units across the tribal districts of Khunti (Jharkhand) and Kanker & Kondagaon (Chhattisgarh), screening 78,801 beneficiaries. By focusing on pregnant women, their spouses, family members, and adolescents, the program has taken a targeted approach to break the cycle of sickle cell disease and empower entire families.

The Aarogya Shakti Award highlights UNMUKT’s measurable outcomes, innovation, and data-driven impact, positioning it as a model for community-based healthcare delivery. This recognition sets a new benchmark for public health interventions addressing sickle cell anaemia in India.
