The HIHL also supports various programs, such as real-time grievance redressal related to healthcare service delivery, complaint registration regarding deficiencies or negligence in government healthcare institutions, and tracking of mother and child health through outbound reminder calls for antenatal care or prenatal care services at the nearest health facility.
Our flagship SARATHI 104 helpline in Assam is a telephone-based, non-emergency service that offers inbound and outbound guidance on any health issue. It leverages algorithms and disease summaries to address common illnesses. Since its inception, SARATHI 104 has received around 20.3 million inbound calls and made around 4.3 million outbound calls.
Under our HIHL services, we are operating the 1097 helpline number. It is a dedicated service for HIV and AIDS-related information, operating in 16 different languages across India. This helpline was launched by National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) and is operated in partnership with Digital Bharat Collaborative. Since its launch in December 2014 on World AIDS Day, we have supported over 38 million callers.
We also support emergency transport services at the last mile through the 108 helpline, operated by GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (EMRI). During COVID, we facilitated 108 ambulance requests via our SARATHI 104 helpline and we continue this collaborative effort today. Till date we have made 4527 ambulance allotments.
